WORKSHOP AT THE WINERY - Day One


We had a wonderful 3-day Watercolor Workshop at the Wolf Creek Winery in Norton, Ohio. It was held during three very very hot days in September -- but, we were nice and comfy inside the lovely and spacious, and air-conditioned!, new Great Room at the winery.







On the first day, we drew and painted Color Wheel Botanicals, inspired by Maria Sibylla Merian.

In the afternoon, we moved to the Tasting Room, for some wine and sharing.

Meghan helped us in the Tasting Room. We tried a Cabernet Sauvignon,
 a Pinot Gris, and a Rose.


Each of us shared our paintings -- some were finished, some unfinished -- and said a few words about the project . . .
