It was such a beautiful morning on Sunday, the last day of the retreat . . .
Mo led another wonderful yoga class for us . . .
|
Heading back to our rooms or cabins after yoga, to get ready for the rest of the day |
Back in the Studio -- showing everyone how to get started on their Batik Triptychs . . .
|
Adding texture with salt |
I have no more pix from the studio, of anyone working, or their work in progress, for today's project. Everyone, including me, was so busy painting and texturing and drawing and masking; then painting, drying, and masking, over and over, until we had painted a few layers -- no one remembered to take photos. Finally, masking was removed -- then, more painting of darks. Believe it or not, this all resulted in 8 beautiful Batik Triptych Paintings.
We did stop, midway through the day, for a delicious lunch, prepared by Chef Mo . . .
We ended the final day, and celebrated the successful ending of The 3rd Annual Painted Prism Art Retreat in Estes Park, with a Pizza & Hot Tub Party . . .
|
. . . and a little Prosecco! |
We sipped our Prosecco and admired everyone's Batiks . . .
