BEHIND-THE-SCENES LOOK: My 2-Day Workshop in Ohio

Here are some scenes from "Watercolor & Wine" - my recent 2-day workshop at the Wolf Creek Winery in Norton, Ohio:

It turned out to be a wonderful venue for the class, and all 11 of us really enjoyed ourselves.  After painting Sunflowers and Grapes all day, we gathered outside of the Tasting Room at the end of each day, to sample some of the Wolf Creek wines and critique and share our paintings.

Soundtrack is "Follow the Sun" by Xavier Rudd and "August" by Tim Janis.

  2. This certainly looks like it was a great workshop. I live in Ohio and wish I had found your blog earlier and signed up. May be you will come back again someday. Will stop back soon. Have a great day. P.S. love your choice of music. I have a cd by Tim Janis...love to put it on and paint while it is playing.

    1. Thanks, Debbie. It was a great time -- and the winery was the perfect place for it. I will definitely be back to Ohio (next year), and hopefully will once again have the workshop at Wolf Creek Winery in Norton. I will advertise it here on the blog, so maybe you'll be able to join us next year. I'm new to Tim Janis, but like what I've heard so far. I will check out some more by him, especially if you think he's good to listen to while painting. :)

    1. Hi, Diane -- This is the link to my recent post, announcing the dates of my upcoming 2015 workshops
      http://thepaintedprism.blogspot.com/2015/02/2015-watercolor-workshop-schedule.html

The Ohio workshop at the Wolf Creek Winery in Norton, will be October 8th & 9th. Last year, there were two ladies who came from Pennsylvania -- and I won't be surprised if they attended again. Hope you can make it, too! There will be more details about it later, but the dates are for sure!
