Announcing Upcoming Watercolor Workshop at Sorrel Sky Gallery

I'm excited to let you know about my upcoming workshop at Sorrel Sky Gallery, in Durango, Colorado,  in January . . .

PAINTING IN WATERCOLOR
CREATIVE APPROACHES TO THE MEDIUM

WHERE:  Sorrel Sky Gallery, 828 Main Ave, Durango, CO
WHEN:  January 25, 26, 27 (Friday - Sunday)
TIME:  10 am - 4 pm
COST:  $275/person
________________________________________________________________________________

Join me for some watercolor fun -- whether you want to improve your skills or learn something new -- or both!

The workshop will be held in their cozy upstairs rooms.  You can either bring a sack lunch, or we could walk to one of the nearby restaurants in downtown Durango for lunch.

There will be lots of instruction in watercolor techniques and drawing -- with a number of different exercises and projects in these three days.

  1. Hi Pat! I found your blog about a week ago, and have enjoyed browsing through all your posts. And I'm so happy to see a new post. Love your work, and you have such good ideas for creative paintings. The waterlilies are super! I did something similar with tulips a few years ago, and my friend named them "Tiffany Tulips". Wish I lived nearby so I could take your workshop.

    1. Hi, Michelle -- Glad to hear that you've enjoyed browsing the posts on my blog. I know they've been a little sparse the last few months. With the new year, I'm looking forward to adding new material, projects, and other helpful posts. Thanks for checking back!
I like the title, "Tiffany Tulips" -- that technique definitely resembles stained glass, doesn't it? Sorry you live too far away to attend the workshop. I will be posting pictures afterwards, and maybe a tutorial of one of the projects.
Thanks for your comment, Michelle -- I'm happy that you found the blog!
